Lethargy and negligence in the recovery of land revenue will not be tolerated, said ADC (R), Toqeer Cheema while presiding a meeting of Tehsil Revenue Officers.
He said the primary duty of the Revenue Department was to collect land revenue in a transparent manner, and in this respect, the revenue officials from top to bottom should leave no stone unturned in achieving their respective target of revenue collection.
He said some of the officers were lagging behind in recovery. He warned them to work hard and achieve their target before June 30, failing which stern action will be taken against them. He directed ACs to monitor recovery operations.
