Pak reports, 47 more deaths 958 Covid-19 new cases

Pakistan has reported 47 deaths in the last 24 hours by the novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 564,824. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 12,380 on Tuesday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 958 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. Province-wise Details: Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad. Till now 254,016 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 164,696 in Punjab 69,885 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 42,808 in Islamabad, 18,946 in Balochistan, 9,532 in AK and 4,941 in GB.—INP
