Aleem calls for JVs during meeting with German envoy

Punjab Senior and Food Minister Abdul Aleem Khan on Friday stressed that there is a lot of scope for joint ventures between Pakistan and Germany, especially in Technical Education through which Pakistani youth can learn new skills.
Punjab Senior and Food Minister Abdul Aleem Khan was talking to German Ambassador to Pakistan Mr. Bernhard Schlagheck on Friday. They discussed various matters of mutual interest, bilateral cooperation and other issues during the meeting. The senior minister said that besides education and health, there could be mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Germany in other fields as well and being the largest province of the country, the Punjab Government could also work together with Germany. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to make the country strong and prosperous and according to his vision, far-reaching projects such as poverty reduction, clean and transparent system and self-reliance structure were being worked on. In his conversation, Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his gratitude to German Ambassador Mr. Bernhard Schlagheck for his visit to Lahore and wished him a pleasant time during his tenure.
German Ambassador Mr. Bernhard Schlagheck, while discussing various projects under Pak-German cooperation with the Punjab senior minister, said that he was looking forward to enhancing bilateral cooperation between the two countries. He expressed hope to start new projects in Punjab in education and other sectors with the cooperation of Germany. German Ambassador Mr. Bernhard Schlagheck said his visit to Lahore was wonderful and said that he appreciated the hospitality of the people of Lahore and would continue to come here at any given chance.
