District Police claimed to have detained nine persons including three proclaimed offenders (POs) and seized huge quantity of arms and ammunition during different search and strike operations in the limits of Gul Imam Police Station.
A press release issued from the office of the District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada on Monday noted that following special directives of DPO, SHO Gul Imam Police station Naimat Shah Khan conducted different search and strike operations.
As many as nine persons including three POs were arrested while 3000-gram hashish, one Kalashnikov and one repeater gun was seized during the drive, the press release noted. Moreover, 17 houses and 10 other residential apartments were also searched out during the operation, the press release maintained.
