LWMC allowed to use foreign cos’ vehicles

Hearing the appeals of CEO Lahore Waste Management Company in the Lahore High Court, the court allowed LWMC to re-use the vehicles of Al-Bayrak and Ozpak Company.
A two-judge bench of the Lahore High Court comprising Justice Shahid Jamil Khan and Justice Muzammil Akhtar Shabbir passed the order on the appeals file by the LWMC.
LWMC lawyer Malik Owais Khalid advocated that the agreement was reached with Albayrak and Ozpak companies for cleaning the city of Lahore.
Single bench allowed return of vehicles and allowed Albayrak and Ozpak companies to operate till 31st December Owned by Al bayrak nd Ozpak, the city is facing difficulties in cleaning up due to non-use of vehicles.
Malik Owais Khalid Advocate requested the court to quash the order of the single bench to return the vehicles to Albayrak.
and Ozpak companies, further requested the court to order the return of vehicles used by Albayrak and Ozpak companies to LWMC.
