The Al-Hamra celebrated the 144th birth anniversary of father of the nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with great devotion and respect.
Punjab Information Secretary Raja Jahangir Anwar, Chairperson Al-Hamra Moneeza Hashmi, Executive Director Saman Rai and a number of dignitaries participated in the ceremony and cut the birthday cake.
DGPR Dr Aslam Dogar, PILAC Director General Dr Sughra Sadaf and Director Lahore Museum Ijaz Ahmad Minhas paid tributes to father of the nation in their speeches.
At the ceremony, they speakers reiterated commitment to follow in the guiding principles of Quaid-i-Azam. “He made history by establishing a separate homeland with immense hard work for Muslims of the Subcontinent”, said Raja Jahangir Anwar.
Moneeza Hashmi said that the day reminds us of our commitment to serve the country.
Al-Hamra Executive Director Saman Rai said that LAC is fulfilling the dreams of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam in shape of promotion of great values of tolerance, brotherhood and harmony.
