Punjab Minister for Prisons Fayyazul Hassan Chohan, who had challenged the opposition alliance to place 50,000 chairs at Minar-e-Pakistan, termed the PDM’s power a complete fiasco, “which deflated tall claims of the corrupt association.”
“The alliance of 11 parties failed to draw even 1,000 persons per party, which reflects their political orphanhood.” In his video statement, the provincial minister said that holding of a rally despite the second wave of coronavirus and threat issued by Necta of possible terrorist activity, was tantamount to risking the lives of people in danger.
He said that he had challenged the opposition parties had the opposition parties alliance filled 50,000 chairs at the rally venue then he will have quit the politics. He said that the opposition parties should end their drama and present themselves for the accountability for the corruption they conducted in their rule. The minister said that the PDM failed to shape even one-fifth part of Minar-i-Pakistan, adding that they had placed chairs at a distance of 10ft and it could not be sum up to more than 7,000.
