The Hurriyat leader Abdul Hameed Lone Welcomed the Prime Minister’s address to the UN General Assembly. He said that Pakistan once again tried to shake the international conscience. UN should take concrete steps to free Kashmir from the control of RSS. India has planned genocide in occupied Kashmir.
Moreover, India is issuing domiciles to the non-state residents in Kashmir as well as providing the weapons and training, which has further wreaked havoc in Kashmir. He expressed these views while talking to the media. Further, he said that the people of Gilgit should be given rights and powers but by giving it the status of a regular province until the Kashmir issue is resolved, the Kashmir issue would be weak at the international level. He also said that the people of Gilgit have to decide the future by participating in the referendum.—Agencies
