Pakistan’s first woman cyclist Samar Khan who bicycled on glaciers in the Karakoram Range and Kilimanjaro in Africa, has complained that she was groped and inappropriately touched by a motorcyclist on a road near the Faizabad Chowk.
The incident took place a day earlier but as soon as she posted the video in which she gave details, District and police administration have come into action to hunt for the pervert.
Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Mohammad Hamza Shafqaat while replying to Samar Khan’s tweet assured her that the police and district administration teams were doing their best to trace down the pervert and get an FIR registered.
The DC has also requested general people to share information about the man.
According to details, Samar Khan she was bicycling on road when she was harassed and groped on a road-turn near Faizabad Chowk.
However, she has expressed the resolve that she would not spare the man who harassed her.
“I will not spare anyone and we must make an example of such people [harassers],” she said while speaking in the video uploaded on her Facebook page and Twitter.
Khan shared in the video clip that she was riding her bicycle when a man in a maroon shirt groped her.
