Secretary General Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has said that criticizing opposition by Prime Minister Imran Khan on a serious and sensitive matter like Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is below prime minister’s status.
In a statement here on Thursday, the SG PPP said that Imran Khan should ask for pardon from opposition and the nation. He said that the opposition did not cause any hurdle in the way of legislation regarding national and people’ interest.
Nayyar Bukhari said that it does not suit a prime minister who has made the President House a factory of ordinances to talk about legislation. PPP will oppose every measure taken by the government against the basic human rights that are guaranteed by the constitution, he added.
Meanwhile Secretary Information Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Dr. Nafisa Shah MNA has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s accusation of being on one page with India regarding Financial Action Task Force is highly condemnable and is a threat to the opposition.
In a statement, she said that by these kinds of statements, Imran Khan wants to pressurize the opposition.
