Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that Shahbaz Sharif is the guarantor of Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan, the PML-N president will face disqualification if he does not fulfill his responsibility.
Talking to a private TV channel, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that if the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was actually ill, he would have submitted his medical reports to the government, but in reality, the Embassy has not been given access to Nawaz.
Continuing, he said that Nawaz Sharif’s escape from the country is not the fault of doctors, but his medical reports as the doctors based their decision on the observations made by said reports.
Fawad Chaudhry said that they have nothing personal against Nawaz Sharif but he has been convicted in the Azizia steel mills case. He will have to bear his punishment or take the plea bargain route, he added.
