Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan H.E. Nawaf Saeed Ahmad Al-Maliki called on Khateeb Imam Badshahi Mosque Lahore and Chairman, Majlis Ulama-e-Pakistan Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad and discussed Pak-Saudi relations. Maulana Azad said that all governments, religious and political parties and the people of Pakistan love Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan and fulfilled the responsibility of friendship.
With each passing day, these relations are getting stronger, he said. General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia is of great significance. This visit has increased the love of the people of both the countries. We believe that the protection of Saudi Arabia is the protection of Pakistan. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has also visited Saudi Arabia soon after the oath as head of the government. Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan on countless occasions.
The two countries have set a shining example of their friendship in the international community. No conspiracy to destabilize fraternal relations between the two countries can succeed, he said, while paying tribute to Saudi ambassador for his outstanding services.Maualana Azad said that Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan is the best representative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, who has always played an important role in strengthening Saudi-Pakistan relations through his excellent diplomacy.
