The Meteorological Department today forecast thunderstorms in Sindh, southeastern Balochistan, northeastern Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and adjoining areas. The weather will remain hot and humid during the day in most parts of Punjab province. Rain is also expected in Lahore, Sialkot, Gujarat, Narowal, Bahawalpur, Multan, DG Khan, Rajanpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Chance of rain with thundershowers in Islamkot, Mithi, Nagarparkar, Thar Parkar, Umerkot, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mirpur Khas, Khairpur, Larkana, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, and Dadu. According to the Pakistan meteorological department (PMD), rain is expected in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Swat, Dir, Mansehra, and Kurram. It is likely to rain again in Karachi today.
The rainwater of the last two days could not be extracted in Karachi due to which the citizens are facing difficulties and people have been forced to relocate in some areas. Rain with strong winds is expected in Lasbela, Khuzdar, Kalat, Zhob, Kohlu, Barkhan, Awaran, Turbat, and surrounding districts of Balochistan province. It will also rain in Kashmir but it will be partly cloudy in Gilgit-Baltistan today.—APP
