5 electrocuted in Sialkot

Five persons, including a minor boy, were electrocuted and one was injured in separate incidents due to rain during couple of Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
The police on Tuesday said that in the first incident in village Kharkana, in the limits of the Cantt police station, Shoaib s/o Nawaz (18) and Asif s/o Riasat (38) sustained severe burns after accidentally touching a high voltage line. Shoaib later died in a local hospital.
In second incident, Afaq s/o Abdul Razzak (28) was killed after receiving sever shock from an electric cooler in Premnagar, in the limits of the Civil Lines police station.
In third incident, Ramzan s/o Muhammad Deen (65) was electrocuted after touching a power motor in village Dhabula, in the limits of the Uggoki police station. In fourth incident, Muhammad Tayyab Salim was electrocuted in village Dhallewali, in the limits of the Head Maral police station, while using a drill machine.
