Provincial Minister Primary and Secondary Health, Punjab, Dr. Jamal Nasir has said that on the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi, all big and small hospitals are being inspected to address problems of hospitals and to improve treatment facilities for people whereas District Headquarter Hospital is amongst the best hospitals of the Punjab because district administration and health department are providing better healthcare facilities to the people despite limited resources.
He expressed these views while talking to journalists after visiting DHQ hospital Hafizabad, on Monday. Deputy Commissioner UmerFarooqWarriach, Medical Superintendent DHQ hospital Dr. Shakil Ahmad Shahid, DHO Dr. Faiq Ali Tarar and AMS Dr. Jahanzib Ali were also present on this occasion. Minister said that 1045 doctors will be recruited in the hospitals of the province after receiving permission from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
He said that labs, X-ray, CT Scan and MRI departments of the hospitals of the province were improved while numbers of beds in small hospitals were increased throughout the Punjab.
