Zafarullah Khan assumes charge of PIPS ED

Islamabad—The academic, social and parliamentary circles have welcomed the appointment of reputed constitutional expert, Zafarullah Khan as Executive Director of Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS).
He was appointed by Board of Governors (BoG) of PIPS in Islamabad that was held with the agenda of appointment of Executive Director of Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS). After rigorous interviews and transparent, merit based mechanism by the Board chaired by Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Zafarullah Khan was finally appointed as the new Executive Director of the PIPS among the shortlisted candidates.
Zafarullah Khan is known for his vast knowledge of constitutional and parliamentary affairs. He has written a number of books, reports and articles at national, regional and international levels over the civic education, parliamentary democracy, constitutionalism, federalism and fundamental rights.
Recently, his book on fundamental rights has been published by senate of Pakistan. He has also been invited as speaker at civil service academy, universities, national & international conferences and other forums. He has also been honored to represent Pakistan in more than one dozen countries.
Chairman Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences and Vice Chancellor University of Hairpur Dr. Nasser Ali Khan, Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission Prof Dr. Muhammad Nizamuuddin Vice Chancellor Abdul Wali Khan University Prof Dr Ihsan Ali, Vice Chancellor University of Education, Dr Rauf-i-Azm National Coordinator Inter University Consortium and NBF book ambassador Muhammad Murtaza Noor and others greeted Zafarullah Khan on his appointment as executive director PIPS and hoped that his appointment would be greatly helpful in further strengthening of Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services and legislative support to the legislatures.
