ZAB’s 37th death anniversary observed

Rawalpindi—Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) city chapter on Monday observed 37th death anniversary of the party’s founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with zeal and fervor at Jinnah Park (old Jail).
Quran Khawani was held and Dua was offered for the departed soul.
Among others, Divisional Coordinator Raja Imran Ashraf, fromer MD Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Khan Zamurd Khan, AJK Minister for Transport and Tourism Islam Butt, lawyers, Women wing leader Sumera Gul and a large of people participated in the ceremony.
The PPP workers laid wreath at the site, where PPP leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged on April 4, 1979.
PPP City President Malik Amir Fida Paracha paid rich tributes to the services of ZAB “ Bhutto is still alive in the hearts and minds of the people,” he added.
Piracha said Bhutto sacrificed his life for the betterment of the countrymen.
He said that Bhutto’s vision would be followed to strengthen democracy in the country. Other speakers highlighted various aspects of the departed leader’s life.
