Youth are getting on the warpath in IHK


Violence and low voter turnout in the recent by-polls and the infamy garnered by the videos of a youth being shot at close range and another being tied to an Army jeep to ward off stone-pelters, have brought about fresh alarm and worry in Kashmir, feel political experts.
To add fuel to a long-burning fire, the violence at Pulwama Degree College, in which more than 60 students were injured, led to widespread protests by students all over the Valley, along with a mass shutdown of educational institutes.—INP
