Youngman strangles to death 8-year-old female cousin for 1 marla plot

Faisalabad—An 18-year-old man strangled his orphan female cousin for a plot in Jaranwala city police precincts. Police said here Saturday that five-year-old Wasia, daughter of Muhammad Yaqoob Chadhar, resident of Mohallah Muhammad Pura, 240-Mor, became orphan when her parents died three years ago, and she started living with her maternal uncle.
The girl got one-marla plot in inheritance, which her cousin Abu Bakar, son of Muhammad Ishaq, wanted to snatch. He took her along with him on a bicycle on the pretext of getting her sweets from market. After reaching Gogera Branch Canal, he strangled her and threw her body into the canal near Chak No 21-GB.
Later, he staged a drama of girl’s abduction. However, the police on suspicion took the boy into custody. During interrogation, he confessed to killing Wasia. The police have also fished out the body from canal.
Meanwhile, it is reported that two persons were killed in separate incidents in the precincts of Sillanwali and Laksian police stations on Saturday. Police said that Muhammad Imtiaz, resident of Chak 136-NB Tehsil Sillanwali quarreled with his brother Muhammad Ejaz over domestic issues. In a fit of rage, Ejaz shot at and killed his brother.
Similarly, Muhammad Azam along with Asif clubbed to death their relative Sultan Ali of Dhooda Tehsil Kotmomin over domestic issues.—APP
