World fora urged to take notice of killing of civilians by India

Islamabad—The Chairman OPF Board of Governors, Barrister Amjad Malik has strongly condemned the ongoing Indian atrocitiesacross the Line of Control (LoC) and said that International Community should take notice of deteriorating situation of Human Rights in Indian held Kashmir and casualties of innocent civilians due cross border firing of Indian forces in Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, Barrister Malik said that right to self-determination is the fundamental right of Kashmiri people and they could not be deprived from their legitimate right of self-determination by India.
He said that India could not divert the world’s attention away from atrocities committed by it forces in Indian held Kashmir. He pointed out that India has unleashed horror in the valley and indulged in worst human rights violations.
He further said that Pakistani and Kashmir expatriates stood united with Kashmiri brothers and sisters in every step of the way in their valiant struggle for self-determination.
The Chairman OPF, Board of Governors appealed to the United Nations Military Observers Group for India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) to take the notice of killing of civilians on the LoC.
He called upon the international community to take a serious notice of Indian violations at the LoC and protect civil population from its aggression. He said that under international law and according to declarations of the United Nations to self-determination, the Kashmiris have the right to struggle for their right to self-determination by all means.
