Workers Day Celebrated

Islamabad—”A Workers’ Day event was organized by Bahria University Islamabad under Community Support Program in the Auditorium for the working staff of the university. It was basically to pay tribute to the workers of BU and appreciate their hard work and efforts in making the university a better working environment and to establish a better understanding among the workers, management and students.
The event began by welcoming the guests, addressing the attendees, recitation of the Holy Quran followed with speeches by the motivational speakers from Green Volunteers and Humans of Pakistan.
The Dramatics Club Team of Student Resource Center (SRC) at Bahria University Islamabad actively participated and performed an act to show gratitude to our dear staff workers. A video was made by the students of Earth & Environmental Sciences Department, followed by a song performance and lunch for about 200 worker guests. Pro Rector and Director Islamabad Campus graced the event with their presence and made this event memorable by making it a platform where working staff could directly communicate to the highest members of management. This event was a perfect example of teamwork, commitment, and respect to the workers and was highly appreciated by our guests and made their morale high.
