Women stage sit-in in Islamabad against Indian brutalities

Islamabad—Women staged a sit-in outside National Press Club in Islamabad, today, to protest against killing of innocent civilians by Indian police and troops in occupied Kashmir.
The protest led by General Secretary of Kashmir Tehreek-e-Khawateen (KTK), Shamim Shawl, was participated by the Kashmiri women and members of civil society of Pakistan.The participants of the protest were holding banners and placards with slogans against India and in favour of freedom of Kashmir.
They demanded of the international community to take notice of the Indian state terrorism in occupied Kashmir and put pressure on New Delhi to settle the long-pending Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people.
The member of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (AJK LA), Naseem Khatoon visited the sit-in camp and expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir. She said that the base camp would provide every kind of moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmir cause.
