Women Netball Championship postponed again

Islamabad—The 15th National Women Netball Championship has been postponed for the second time this year and now will be held in April here at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
The championship was first scheduled to be held at Hamidi Hall from January 28 to 31 but was postponed due to the training camps for the preparation of South Asian Games. Then it was planned to be held from March 3 but now it is delayed due to the preparations for March 23 celebrations of 66th Pakistan Day.
According to President, Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF), Mudassar Arain the championship will now be held from April 12 to 16. “National Men’s championship will also be held along with the women’s events,” he said.
He said that as many as 16 teams from all over the country including Pakistan Army, Pakistan Wapda, Pakistan Police, Pakistan Airforce, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Railway, Higher Education Commission, Punjab, KPK, Balochistan, Sindh, Islamabad, Fata, AJK, Lahore Grammars School, LUMS University, Gilgit Balististan will participate in the event.
Sindh will defend the title in the championship.—APP
