Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said on Sunday that once in power his party will not spare former National Accountability Bureau chief Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, until he meets justice and is behind the bars.
The PTI chief was addressing a rally in Sheikhupura, which is a part of the party’s continuing string of rallies across Punjab.
Imran claimed that the former NAB chief helped facilitate corruption cases of the government officials. “Wherever you go we will bring you to task, you are nation’s criminal,” said Imran Khan.The PTI chief alleged that the ex-NAB chief hid the corruption cases of big thieves.
While addressing NAB Chief Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal, he said: “nation is looking at you” as these dacoits have laundered money.
Criticising Nawaz Sharif, the PTI chief alleged that he made money after coming into power. He (Nawaz) was used to travel to London for shopping during his vacations but this year he distributed meal on the eve of Miladun Nabi (PBUH). Imran recalled that he was called an agent of Jews when he entered into politics.
Faced great difficulty in holding the rally, said Imran while lambasting Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura for the hurdles. “Came to Sheikhupura four years ago, only had 10 percent of the current attendance,” said the PTI chief while expressing his gratitude for the huge number of participants in the rally.
Imran said that people have come to streets against the PML-N.
