Widow appeals for release of son

Widow has appealed to the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan to use their good offices to get the release her son who was languishing in the Indian Jail for the past 16-year despite the fact that he has completed his sentence awarded by the Indian court.
According to her, her son Muhammad Shahnawaz had crossed the border erroneously from Bahawalpur border in 2001 and was arrested by the Indian forces. He was lodged in Sabir Mati Central Jail Gujerat and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Recently, Shahnawaz wrote a letter to his mother that although he has completed his sentence but the Indian Government was not releasing him. Meanwhile dead body of a 35-year-old youngman was recovered from Rakh Branch Canal from near Taveliwali village.
