Islamabad—Special Assistant to Prime Minister of Pakistan Dr Asif Kirmani has said that his party want to see Sardar Khalid Ibraim, President JKPP on AJK Assembly, and that Jamat Islami would get two seats in the House. With the Jamat talks were held on technocrat and Valley seats, he added.
He said that the two-party alliance between JKPP and PML-N would continue in future as well. We want to see Sardar Khalid in Assembly and talks are continuing with him.
Another report says that on four more Assembly seats Muslim Conference and PTI-AJK has made electoral adjutment. Against these four seats both parties will put up joint candidates, report adds.
In an Iftar gathering in his Fatehpur Thakyala Salar House, senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N predicted to his workers that his party would sweep the July 21, 2016 general elections in AJK.
Yet another report says that PTI-AJK Chief Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has made a written complaint to the AJK Chief Election Commissioner Mr Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal that official vehicles and protocol were being used by government leaders in their electioneering. In his complaint he is reported to have added that the federal ministers were influencing the voters by offering new development schemes from Kashmir Council budget.
