Water supply, drainage system to be improved at district and taluka level: Murad

Karachi—Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that he has a plan to carry out development all over Sindh and the district and taluka headquarters would also be upgraded and beautified.
The CM Sindh expressed these views while addressing the notables of Sehwan and Dadu taluka who called on him at CM House here on Sunday. Murad Ali Shah said that he was giving special importance to the development schemes. “It is my utmost effort to utilize Rs25 billion district and Rs200 billion provincial ADPs properly for which off and on I keep reviewing development progress,” he said.
He said that he was well aware that the villages, towns and cities of rural areas need water supply and drainage system. “The both schemes the government has taken up through district ADPs, Public Health Engineering department, local government and now I am trying take them up through provincial ADP also,” he said.
The Chief Minister urged the notables to personally monitor the performance of the schools. “You must watch whether the teachers are going to school regularly and taking the classes,” he said and added that each and every individual must extend helping hand to the government for improvement of education and health services.
The notables of the Sehwan lauded the efforts of the chief minister for development of province, including each and every village and city.
