Voting held in Abbottabad peacefully

Except minor scuffle on few polling stations in Abbottabad district, all was well and polling was conducted in peacefully for two National Assembly and four Provincial Assembly seats without any break.
Heavy contingent of police and army personal was deployed on almost all the stations with patrolling of local police and divisional administration in Abbottabad.
In the city area, the voting turnover was around 50% on the local stations as data calculated from some of local city stations and polling was conducted without any break in the district. Total 449 polling stations were established in NA-15 (Abbottabad-1) and 332 polling stations in NA-16 (Abbottabad-2).
26 candidates are in the run for Two Abbottabad National Assembly Seats 13 each in NA-15 and NA-16. In the provincial assembly 4 seats, 69 where on the run where 17 are contesting in PK-36, 18 in PK-37, 19 in PK 38 and 15 in Pk-39.
Total 1,216 polling booths were established in NA-15 while 894 in NA-16 where total numbers of registered voters are 478,336 in NA-15 and 360,390 in NA-16. No of male voters in NA-15 are 262,666 against 215,670 female and in NA-16, male voters are 194,555 and 165,835 female voters.
