Voters cast their votes in peaceful, free environment: DC West

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the District West, Sadia Jaffer Thursday said that voters exercised their right to vote during the general election-2018 in free, peaceful and secure environment in all the polling stations which were set up in the district West.
In a statement here, she said that as many as 237 polling stations were declared sensitive among the total 1202 polling stations.
She said that CCTV cameras were installed on all sensitive polling stations, besides deployment of law enforcers to provide free and peaceful environment to the voters.
Representatives of the political parties were also taken into confidence to ensure compliance of the code of conduct which were announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan for the general elections-2018.—APP
