VIP movement

We have indeed a landmark Constitution which enshrines and guarantees all fundamental rights to the citizens to make their lives worth living and this society is truly civilized and democratic. But in many instances nothing is being done as per the Constitution demands. Let’s take an example of VIP movement, be it in any part of the country, people’s right to move freely is a farce in the streets or during any festival when a VIP is in town or more than all, straw-made shops, hovels and huts are forced to be closed, as long as the VIP remains, resides or makes a stop-over there.
Police has muscles and lathi which they use violently to terrorise the people. The ground realties reflect that an ordinary citizen has no rights but the so-called VIPs in this land but who cares in this land where there is no rule of law and constitutionalism.
