UET merit policy will attract foreign students

Lahore—“University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET) is preferred by foreign students in engineering education due to it transparent merit policy, modern pedagogical skills and authenticated infrastructure, “ this was stated by Vice-Chancellor UET, Lahore Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmed Khalid while addressing to foreign students of UET at Seminar Hall of National Library of Engineering Sciences. Keeping in view that students belong to different countries like Jordan, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Keneya and Malaysia etc. are enrolled in UET, Lahore.
He said that UET entertains all students in proper manner discouraging discriminatory approach in this regards. It is prime duty of institute to fulfill the expectations of learners specially who came from abroad and chose UET for getting education.
He emphasized it that Pakistan is a land of peace loving people and wants to extend its relations with the world. In this connection UET Lahore is open for any foreign university and industry to make collaborations on research, academia and employment as well.
He revealed that UET seeks to enhance the enrollment of foreign students at priority basis because since many decades the foreign students having been performing their duties in different fields. It is the mark of pride for UET as well.
He said that faculty administration and other staff are available to serve foreign students and resolve their issues if they have. So feel free to communicate the concerned office regarding your any sort of query.
