Two PAF officers martyred in plane crash

In a tragic incident two pilots of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) embraced martyrdom when their training aircraft crashed Wednesday at Bacha Khan International Airport in Peshawar.
According to reports the training aircraft FT-7PG developed some technical fault and crashed while landing.
“The Pakistan Air Force reports with regret said that a PAF FT-7PG trainer aircraft, while returning from a routine operational training mission, crashed during landing at the Peshawar Air Base, says a communiqué of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) though it has not confirmed the martyrdom of its two pilots. However, official sources later confirmed two PAF Pilots were martyred as the plane crashed after developing technical fault
An emergency was declared at the airport after the incident and flights were temporarily suspended, however the runway of the Bacha Khan International Airport was cleared after the incident.
