The government of Pakistan is initiating several steps to promote volunteerism.
The Federal Government is strengthening the disaster management institutions in order to save the lives and assets of the people. Pakistan is ranked at 4th position among most charity – donations countries. The need of time is to establish proper coordination and communication among states institutions. We should be ready at every time so that will be able to face any natural disaster. The service of mankind is a great virtue.
Many notable people in Pakistan like Adbul Sattar Edhi and Dr. Ruth Katherina Martha Pfau devoted their lives for the service of humanity. Their commendable services are admired not only in Pakistan but also all over the world. We should organize training workshops at community level in order to tackle emergency situations.
