In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders, Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo and Ghulam Nabi War have paid glowing tribute to S Hamid Wani on his 19th martyrdom anniversary.
The Hurriyet leaders organized a prayers session at the Martyrs graveyard, Eidgah. Imtiyaz Reshi appealed to all freedom-loving people to participate in the anniversary.
It is worth to mention that S Hamid Wani was arrested by the Indian police and killed in custody on April 18, 1998 in Soura, Srinagar.
Hurriyet leaders said that the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs would not be allowed to go waste and their mission would be taken to its logical conclusion at all costs.—KMS
