Islamabad—A three day indigenous on campus training workshop concluded in a decorous ceremony at Air University main campus here at Islamabad says a press release. The workshop was organized for management staff by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Air University and funded by Learning Innovation Division of Higher Education Commission (HEC). The training was planned and executed by team of QEC headed by Director Quality Air Commodore (r) Abdul Wahab Motla and training coordinator Ms. Shjia Gul.
In his remarks, chief guest of the ceremony Air Vice Marshal (r) Faaiz Amir Vice Chancellor Air University emphasized on importance of faculty and staff trainings. He said that Air University has focused on the capacity building of faculty and staff through trainings to improve their teaching methodologies and professional skills. He advised the participants to become facilitator to the students and all other stake holders while discharging their duties. He appreciated the QEC efforts for conducting a well-planned training workshop and HEC role for funding such useful activities.
The workshop was focused in following areas such as recruitment processes, leadership, good governance, importance of stake holder’s feedback to improve customers’ satisfaction etc. While briefing about the workshop, Director QEC Abdul Wahab Motla stated that Air University is enriched with diverse experienced and seasoned educationists and managers who are imparting their knowledge to participants during such training schemes.
