Train march will bring corrupt to justice: Siraj

Lahore—Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq has said that the rulers were adopting delaying tactics to escape probe into the Panama Leaks. He said that the entire government system was disturbed due to absence of the Prime Minister from the country at this moment.
Addressing a big crowd in connection with JI Train March at the Lahore railway station, Sirajul Haq said that the nation was up against the corrupt rulers and they could not escape accountability. He said that the JI was part of the Opposition and wanted to remain so.
The JI desired that the government and the opposition agreed on joint Terms of References (ToRs) and a Judicial Commission was set up for Panama leaks probe. The judicial commission should have full powers to confiscate the illegal wealth and properties of the plunderers, he added. Sirajul Haq termed the incumbent government as continuation of the PPP and Musharaf rule and said that the policies of the previous regimes were still continuing.
Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq said that the train march will continue till the end of corruption. He said that the country’s existence is endangered because of the corrupt leaders, further stating that if an independent investigation commission is not formed to probe into the Panama Leaks issue, then the people will hit the streets and head towards Islamabad.—APP
