In fact, Karachi is the 7th largest city in the world. In the past, it was viewed as the City of Lights as it was splendid and sparking streets were washed consistently at night and the light posts were there to light every spot. But today’s Karachi is the inverse of what we knew about it from our guardians. The Karachi we discover today is loaded with a lot of problems. Traffic problem is one of the serious problems of this city. So, through this letter, I want to draw attention of concerned authorities towards Karachi’s biggest problem.
Population of the city has grown rapidly, with this the number of the city’s problems has also gone up. Besides traffic jams, noise pollution is also increasing by alarming proportions. The number of road accidents is also growing apart from pedestrians facing a lot of inconvenience while crossing a road. It’s my humbly request to the other concerned authorities to look into this major issue and solve it as soon as possible. I also request the citizens to cooperate with traffic police and government to solve this problem.
