Tough fight expected between PML-N and PTI candidates

With only few days left in general elections 2018, electioneering is gaining momentum, as not only heads of mainstream political parties are running election campaigns across the country but candidates of different parties are going door to door to gain public support.
Shehbaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, Siraj ul Haq, Asfand Yar Wali and other main stream leaders are holding public meetings and party conventions in their stronghold to fetch public support.
As per statistics, the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf has fielded maximum number of 248 candidates for 272 national assembly seats across the country. Pakistan People’s Party finished IInd party with 218 candidates and the PML-N has fielded 213 candidates.
As per break up, for 51 NA seats in the KPK, the PTI has fielded 49 candidates followed by the PPP with 37 candidates and the PML-N fielded 31 candidates. For three seats of Federal Capital, these three mainstream political parties have fielded three each candidates. For 141 NA seats in Punjab, PML-N has fielded 136 candidates followed by the PTI with 134 candidates and the PPP fielded 105 candidates.For 61 NA seats in Sindh, PPP has fielded 60 candidates followed by the PTI with 49 candidates and the PML-N fielded 36 candidates.
