29 Wings of Civil Armed Forces to beraised for border, internal security

Islamabad—A high level meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Monday, decided to raise 29 new wings of Civil Armed Forces to improve border management and internal security of the country.
The meeting reviewed the progress on implementation of National Action Plan.
It was also decided that the Implementation Committee of NAP will be headed by the National Security Advisor Nasser Khan Janjua. It would include Secretary Interior, Director-General NACTA, all provincial chief secretaries, and representative from intelligence agencies. The military will be represented by DG Military Operations.
The meeting also reviewed the existing mechanism controlling of terrorist fundings. It agreed on stringent controls.
It also discussed recent passage of the Cyber Crimes Bill and decided that an implementation mechanism to deal with cyber crimes would be put into place at the earliest.
These who attended the meeting included Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, DG ISI Lt. General Rizwan, Special Assistant to PM Syed Tariq Fatemi, National Security Advisor Nasser Khan Janjua, DG IB Aftab Sultan and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary.
