Thunderstorms, more rain forecast

Islamabad—Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Thursday forecast more rain and thunderstorms in Punjab and upper region of the country during next 24 hours, a day after powerful storms left at least 14 people dead.
A western disturbance is affecting upper parts of the country and is likely to persist till Friday, PMD said. More dust-thunderstorm rain is expected at scattered places in KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan, Bannu division), Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Kashmir while at few places in D.G.Khan. —APP
