Thesis Display 2018 held at FJWU

Fatima Jinnah Women University Student’s of MFA and BFA exhibited their creative and innovative art work in a “Thesis Display 2018” here on Friday.
The display of 2018 was a magnificent show of creativity, innovation and professional approach of the Fine Arts students.
Vice Chancellor of National College of Arts Lahore, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri inaugurated the display. He is a Pakistani painter, draftsman, sculptor and art-educator.
Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri while addressing the successful students said that the maturity of student’s work highlighted the contributions made by their teachers and dedication of the University towards its students through providing them an ideal environment to groom their talents and creativeness.
Vice Chancellor, FJWU, Prof. Dr Samina Amin Qadi applauded the efforts of the students and said that the efforts of the students were remarkable and outlook was very unique and diverse.
University aimed at providing its students market oriented skills through practical work beside the theoretical part of any course, she added. She also thanked Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri for visiting FJWU and encouraging the students.
In the thesis display 60 (sixty) students of Master and Bachelor Program took part to proof their flair and diverse artistic approach.
Art pieces in different disciplines including Textiles Design, Print making and Communication design were displayed.
The art work displayed in the exhibition was very distinctive and full of expressions as the young artistic souls tried to translate their emotions and ideas through their fabulous work.—APP
