The house of cards falling down

Ayesha Zee Khan

The RAW agent, Kulbhushan Jadav nabbed by Pakistani authorities in March had much to say. He not only confessed that he was sent to create mayhem & chaos in Baluchistan/Karachi etc, the man also added that he joined RAW in 2013 while Delhi admitted that he was commander (equivalent to lieutenant colonel in army) of Indian Navy who had opted to retire prematurely. He was into terrorist financing and training network which used to operate from Chabahar in Iran, Makran in Pakistan and adjoining districts of Afghanistan. He was tasked to initiate a string of subversive activities on the Makran coast where not only Chinese are working on Gwadar port but Pakistan Navy and Air Force also have multiple facilities. The video evidence was released by Pakistani authorities on both mainstream media and social media. Not a pretty picture for today’s world of spying and espionage!
India that has been drumming to the world since decades that Pakistan finances terrorist activities on its soil has had to face this real live, breathing embarrassment at the hands of Kulbhushan who on getting caught said very level-headedly that he had to cooperate with Pakistani authorities since he knew he was a guest of his hosts for a long time to come. Calm and poised, Jadav was grateful that he was being treated very respectfully, like an officer of another country. He revealed and confirmed that 26 Indian engineers were allegedly working at Sharifs Ramzan Sugar Mill, on investigation by Pakistanis four out of the twenty six turned out to be RAW agents, whose primary purpose of entering Punjab was the same, to create chaos & mayhem and stay in regular contact with their contacts in Punjab.
Disheartening for the millions of voters of Sharifs and common citizens that their PM and Chief Minister Punjab were allegedly harbouring terrorists in their premises. Sources said that it was a matter of grave concern for the top officials of Pakistani intelligence agencies that services on the name of consultancy for the other sugar mills of Punjab and Sindh have not been hired, but under the supervision of official protocol of Chief Minister Punjab, these Indian nationals were not only kept covertly but they were given access to other cities of Pakistan and without police reporting visa, a privilege no Indian common national can enjoy (visa to only three cities are normally stamped by Indian & Pakistan HC). Such privileged visas are only granted to diplomats, head of state from either side of the border. These Indian nationals were identified by the detained RAW agent Kulbhushan during investigation. Sources also revealed that the record of Ramzan Sugar Mills shows that some 40 Indian nationals consultant services were hired. Out of 40, some 14 had often travelled back to India while remaining 26 Indian nationals ensured their presence in the mills.
A powerful blast ripped through a massively crowded area of the Iqbal park adjacent to Gate 1 in Lahore on Easter which houses swings, train and some other attractions for children. This monolithic blast was caused by at least 15 to 20 kg explosive material that had been used by a suicide bomber. More than 70 people lost their lives and almost 300 got injured. This was an attack on soft targets, on women & children, on families that had gone out on a lovely spring day to celebrate Easter and their Sunday. It wasn’t an attack on Christians or Muslims, it was targeted to kill Pakistani citizens and to create a colossal carnage, fear and a warning for the gate keepers of this country. Jamat-ul-Ahrar claimed responsibility for this heinous act, which is an off shoot group of TTP, funded by RAW. It is the same faction which on Nov 2 2014, attacked Wagah Border via a suicide bomber attempting to enter the parade arena after flag lowering ceremony detonated explosives, killed at least 60 people, including two Rangers, and injured more than 110 others (again the target was a soft one, Wagah ceremony is largely witnessed by women, children & families)
International & Pakistani media reported almost a week ago that a staggering leak of secret files from a Panamanian law firm that specialised in offshore tax havens had revealed the financial wheelings and dealings of some of the world’s most powerful political players, such as Russia’s Vladimir Putin, the king of Saudi Arabia, Iceland’s prime minister and the family of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, among scores of others. This data dump that is described as being larger than leaked US diplomatic cables, around 2.6 terabytes of information drawn from the internal database of Mossack Fonseca has been made public. According to the documents revealed Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharifs children Mariam, Hasan and Hussain “were owners or had the right to authorise transactions for several off shore companies”.
As an onlooker one wonders what is going on? Who has Nawaz Sharif incredibly angered? One after another a series of disasters engulf our Prime Minister and his family. The icing on the top is way his cabinet ministers go left right center clarifying & giving childish justifications on the above incidents to be “holier than the King.” Turning tables around when questioned regarding their own highness.
Let’s take it one by one: Kulbhushan Jadav the RAW spy getting caught, more Indian spies found from Ramzan sugar mills, the Easter Sunday massacre, the Panama Leaks, one after another it seems as if the “House of Cards” is coming down. Who is creating this domino effect? Is it a human being or the Creator Himself? Are all the above incidents linked? If they are linked then our Prime Minister is standing in a hot thick soup! A deadly recipe which will not only exterminate Prime Minister Nawaz Sharifs political career completely but is likely that he maybe face cases on economic treason, tax evasion, money laundering as pointed out by Chairman Tehreek e Insaf Imran Khan in his speech on the floor of National Assembly. Is it God that has unveiled the most sacred secrets of our Prime Minister?
“After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.”(Surah Al-Baqara, 85)
