Karachi—Pakistan People’s Party Sindh chapter General Secretary Senator Taj Haider while expressing his grave concern on interference of certain quarters of the country into the national politics and political parties and tactic to create new factions and maligning them with all negativity so as to push them away from the masses.
Such tactics are entirely dreadful and counter-productive for the democracy in the country and the country itself. While speaking on the subject of a press conference by the two former leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) (Syed Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani) at Karachi on this past Thursday at their residence in DHA, the PPP Senator termed this new development as counter-productive and said such tactic for giving a rise to certain elements as challenger to political party would have devastating impacts of the country.
He said that the masses are the real biggest court to decide as who is wrong or right but production of such elements in politics under use of force and to malign established political parties, to pin them to wall, to create faction sin them and to put them on media trial and also to create rebellion inside a particular political party is not only dangerous for the country but is also equally tantamount to paint the face of the country with negative aspects.
This practice should be stopped and instigating the sentiments of the masses should not be taken as joke because the country could not afford such adventurism.
