Stolen car, weapons seized

Islamabad—Islamabad Police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered stolen car, bike, weapons, hashish and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that SP (Saddar) assigned the task to DSP Muhammad Hussain to arrest those involved in various crime incidents.
Following his directions, a special team from Noon police station including Sub-Inspector Muhammad Sharif , Main Khan and others nabbed three persons including a female involved in drug peddling activities.
They were identified as Daw Jan, Waqas and Marina Khanwhile police also recovered 2200 grams hashish from their possession. Police also arrested accuse Sayar Khan and recovered stolen car from him.
Koral police arrested Sajjad and Aman for having one pistol each from them while Bhara Kahu police arrested a bike lifter Waqar Shah and recovered stolen bike from him. Khana police arrested Zubair Hussain,Iftikhar and recovered one 30 bore pistol and one 12 bore gun from them.
Sihala police arrested Majid and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
SSP Islamabad has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.—INP
