Special committee meets to review reforms in PST

Lahore—A meeting of special committee constituted by the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to review the reforms in Punjab Services Tribunal was held at Civil Secretariat here on Saturday.
Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Shamail Ahmad Khawaja presided over the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting to send interim recommendations for the approval of chief minister Punjab regarding provision of special judicial allowance and utility allowance to the Civil Officers assigned the duties as Members Punjab Services Tribunal (PST) and were performing judicial work in the PST.
The rest of the members of PST belonging to Judiciary already enjoyed this facility. The special committee has sent this recommendation keeping in view the status of members PST. —APP
