Speakers pay tribute to Abdul Qayyum Khan

Islamabad—Speakers on Sunday paid rich tribute to the late Khan Abdul Qayyum Khan rendering sacrifices for two nation theory and conducting referendum in the favour of Pakistan in 1947.
The annual death anniversary of Khan Abdul Qayyum Khan was observed here, Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Lt. Gen R Abdual Qadir Baloch was the chief Guest while Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has presided the ceremony.
Speaking on the Occasion Abdul Qadir Baloch has highlighted the different aspects of the life of Abdul Qayyum Khan.
He said that Abdul Qyume Khan had contributed lot in the politic of the country and introduced agricultural, educational and industrial reform in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the life of Abdul Qayyum Khan was very simple and he always stood against the corruption. Qadir Baloch stressed the need for the unity of all Pakistanis for the prosperity and development of the country.
Speaking on the occasion Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said that Abdul Qayyum Khan was the visionary leader and he rendered sacrifices for the Tehreek e Pakistan and Idealogy of Pakistan.
