Smuggled goods worth Rs40m seized

Lahore—The Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) of model customs Collectorate (Preventive), Lahore has seized smuggled / non-duty paid goods worth of Rs 40 million.
According to details Anti Smuggling Organization of Model Customs Collectorate (Preventive) headed by Dr. Muhammad Adnan Khan, Assistant Collector, Mr. Munawar Ahmad Khan, Superintendent, M/s. Ejaz Rasool Shah, Saleem Akhtar and Mazhar Abbas Buttar has been starting a campaign against non-duty paid / smuggled goods and vehicles in Lahore.
During the first 20 days of May, 2016 the customs ASO seized smuggled / non-duty paid goods including cloth, motor cycle parts, fire crackers, auto parts, wrist watches, injection molding machine including Vehicles including Honda Civic Car, Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Mark-X. The value of the seized goods and vehicles is more than 40.00 million.
