PESHAWAR Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has refuted ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s statement that the PML(N) had nothing to do with the abolition of the Khatme Nabuwwat oath and asked why no action had been taken so far against those responsible for the conspiracy.

Addressing the JI’s Khatm Nabuwwat Conference in Peshawar on Wednesday, he said if this was not the decision of the ruling party, why the people behind it, whether ministers or advisors, had not been shunted out of the assembly or the cabinet. Why the government had not dissociated itself from them and put them behind the bars, he asked.

Sirajul Haq demanded of the rulers to give up patronage of the Qadyanis and made it clear that the masses would not spare any sacrifice for safeguarding the faith in the Finality of the Holy Prophet.

He said it was a tragedy that the concept of the Finality of the Holy Prophet was ambushed during the Muslim League government and all the parties in the parliament remained silent while JI MNA Sahibzada Tariqullah represented the people of  Pakistan by raising the issue.

Sirajul Haq pointed out that the founder of the JI, Maulana Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi, was awarded death sentence for writing a book on the Qadyani issue and the JI leaders and workers could not forgive anyone who invaded this concept of the Muslims.

He further said the JI would fight against the agents of the US, the internationalist establishment and the corruption kings. He expressed the hope that in the election for NA 4, Peshawar, the people would reject the forces of exploitation and vote for the JI candidate.
