Sindh, South Punjab to face hot weather

Hot weather is expected in Sindh and South
Punjab while dry weather is expected mainly in other parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, light rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, upper Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country, a met official Rashid Bilal told APP. During the last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country while weather remained hot in Sindh and South Punjab. However, rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Bannu, Rawalpindi divisions, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Rainfall recorded was KP: Kalam 14mm, Dir 11mm, Mirkhani 08mm, Peshawar, Drosh 06mm, Parachinar 05mm, Chitral 04mm, Balakot 03mm, Bannu, Cherat 02mm, Lower Dir, Kakul, Risalpur 01mm.
