Sindh Ombudsman removed from service

The Sindh government, on complaints against provincial ombudsman for women Pir Ali Shah, has removed him from office. The apex court, in an enquiry had found him to have recruited close relatives and people known to him in service overlooking the procedural formalities. They included his son, daughter, and near relatives. The Supreme Court had ordered that his place be filled by competent person within three weeks.
